Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Etchimaths (the "App"), you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the App. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Etchiworks INC. ("we", "the Company").

2. The service

The App provides educational content — lessons, practice questions, exam-style papers and reference material. It is a study aid only. We do not guarantee any result, grade, admission or particular outcome in an exam, and the content is provided as a learning aid, not as professional, financial or career advice.

3. Accounts and individual use

You are responsible for your account and the confidentiality of your password. An account belongs to one person: only one device can be signed in to an account at a time, and sharing credentials is not allowed. We may suspend or close, without refund, any account that is shared, misused or in breach of these Terms.

4. Permitted use

You agree not to copy, record, redistribute, resell, scrape, decompile or otherwise extract the App's content, and not to bypass any access control or subscription barrier. All content, design, text, questions and software in the App are the property of Etchiworks INC. and are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence for your own study use only.

5. Payments

Subscriptions unlock premium content for the period paid. Prices are shown before payment and may change for future purchases. Mobile Money payments are processed by third-party providers (for example Campay for MTN and Orange, and for card payments) — their own terms also apply. You are responsible for any fees charged by your operator. A subscription grants a right of access; it does not transfer ownership of any content. Depending on the version of the App, subscriptions may not be offered for purchase.

6. Refunds

Because access to digital content is granted immediately, subscription payments are non-refundable once the content is unlocked, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If a payment was taken in error or a technical problem prevented access, contact us: we will review the request in good faith. Any refund granted is at our discretion.

7. Data and privacy

To run your account we keep the information you provide (name, username, email, country and, if applicable, a profile photo), plus the usage data needed for sign-in, the single-session rule and payments. We do not sell your personal data. Payment information is handled by the payment providers and is not kept by us. By using the App, you consent to this processing. You can ask for your account to be deleted by contacting us.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and content may be added, changed or removed at any time. We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, and may revise these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Etchiworks INC. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, results, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, and the Cameroonian courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under your local law. Any question about these Terms can be sent to support@etchimaths.com.
